Il progetto multimediale del Duo ES (Evangelisti-Serenari) in collaborazione con il compositore omonimo Nicola Evangelisti è incentrato sul concetto di ”arte come varco spirituale” e “arte come sintesi tra scienza e spiritualità”. 

 

Il Duo Es utilizza principi geometrici per creare simmetrie che riflettono l'armonia  della natura riscontrabili nei cristalli di ghiaccio, nei fiori e in molti altri elementi naturali.Tali simmetrie di luce, proiettate dinamicamente sotto gli archi del quadriportico del palazzo Bevilacqua Ariosto, simboleggiano  “rosoni” quindi “finestre” che grazie al passaggio della luce conducono lo spettatore in un viaggio spirituale invitandolo alla contemplazione. 

La continua evoluzione delle simmetrie nella stretta relazione tra forma-luce e suono simboleggia, inoltre, la mutevolezza della natura nel flusso del tempo, concetto definito dal termine transeunte. Di contro, le stesse forme di luce, nella veste di rosoni, al contempo attraversati e costituiti da luce ed energia spirituale, offrono un momento di infinito connettendo il visibile all’inesprimibile. 

Più alleggeriamo la materia fisica dell’opera d’arte trasformandola in energia luminosa più ci avviciniamo ad oltrepassare la soglia del mondo sensibile verso la rappresentazione dell’incommensurabile.

Il progetto abbraccia una visione olistica dove scienza e spiritualità non sono separate ma complementari e si integrano reciprocamente per cercare di comprendere la realtà nella sua interezza.

L’installazione evoca, tramite il linguaggio dell’arte e della scienza, il tentativo di unire l’energia della luce alla perfezione geometrica della forma, prendendo a prestito dallo studio della natura quegli schemi geometrici e proporzioni matematiche che regolano la forma primaria dei cristalli, dei fiori, fino a forme complesse.

The multimedia project by Duo ES (Evangelisti-Serenari), in collaboration with composer Nicola Evangelisti, focuses on the concepts of "art as a spiritual gateway" and "art as a synthesis between science and spirituality."

 

Duo Es uses geometric principles to create symmetries that reflect the harmony of nature, found in ice crystals, flowers, and many other natural elements. These symmetries of light, dynamically projected under the arches of the portico of Palazzo Bevilacqua Ariosto, symbolize "rose windows," or "windows," which, through the passage of light, lead the viewer on a spiritual journey, inviting contemplation.

The continuous evolution of symmetries in the close relationship between light form and sound also symbolizes the mutability of nature in the flow of time, a concept defined by the term transient. Conversely, the same forms of light, in the guise of rosettes, simultaneously traversed and constituted by light and spiritual energy, offer a moment of infinity, connecting the visible to the inexpressible.

 

The more we lighten the physical matter of the artwork, transforming it into luminous energy, the closer we come to crossing the threshold of the sensible world toward the representation of the immeasurable.

The project embraces a holistic vision where science and spirituality are not separate but complementary and integrate with each other in an attempt to understand reality in its entirety.

The installation evokes, through the language of art and science, the attempt to unite the energy of light with the geometric perfection of form, borrowing from the study of nature those geometric patterns and mathematical proportions that govern the primary form of crystals, flowers, and even complex shapes.
